Junior auditor

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Confirming that the client’s cash balance records agree with the bank’s records
  • Checking that the client owns fixed assets (such as buildings, machinery, computers and cars) that it includes on its books
  • Helping to ensure that the client’s supplier list is complete
  • Attending inventory to observe the organization’s methods of inventory recording
  • Test-count a sample of the client’s inventory
  • Recording and testing of client processes and controls
  • Data processing in Excel (processing of posting journals, closing sheets, etc.)
  • Assisting in the preparation of final reports summarizing key issues identified during the audit and recommending potential improvements to the client’s systems, business processes and controls.

Conditions:

  • University degree Audit / Accounting / Finance / Management / Business
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and multitasking
  • Solid knowledge of excel

In line with advancement and training, the junior auditor is assigned additional responsibilities by team leaders and managers.

Candidates selected for the further recruitment process will be invited to take assessment tests, and those selected will undergo a two-week training before entering the employment relationship, if they do not have previous experience in auditing.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Accounting, posting, preparation of final account and tax balance
  • Responsibility for VAT preparation and reconciliation
  • Responsibility for monitoring and applying local tax and financial legislation
  • Monitoring and compliance with all tax requirements
  • Communication with clients, tax authorities, auditors and other institutions

Conditions:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar position in an international environment
  • Knowledge of Serbian tax and accounting standards, local legislation, IFRS and IAS
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of working in Pantheon is an advantage
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving propensity
  • Speed ​​and accuracy in the preparation of given tasks
  • Ability to work in a team

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Providing advice on tax laws, duties, fees, charges
  • Completion of expert opinions, instructions and recommendations
  • Assistance in submitting and filling out tax returns
  • Verification and verification of tax returns
  • Attending tax inspections, audits
  • Analysis of tax acts and preparation of objections, appeals and objections
  • Creation of tax optimization plans
  • Communication with the authorities of the Tax Administration
  • Collection and review of documentation in order to submit a request for postponement of tax obligations
  • Advice on the taxation of various transactions
  • Monitoring and analysis of changes in regulations and laws and writing texts from specific tax areas
  • Attending meetings, communicating with clients, answering by phone or email

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of tax laws and the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration
  • Work experience in the profession of at least 3 years (preferably in tax calculation, tax control and tax consulting)
  • Higher education in law or economics science
  • Knowledge of the English language
  • Professional relationship with colleagues at all levels of the organization and ability to work in a team
  • Professionalism, precision and commitment to work and tasks
